Spotlight Event: Festival Seagate
Season Opener Club Member Event at The Seagate Country Club, Delray Beach
Residents and guests of the Seagate Country Club community had a special summer send-off full of music, food, fun and luscious libations. This private festival was nothing short of a Coachella style, Lallapalooza level event. Three amazing musical acts filled the air over a premium festival style Meyer Sound PA.
The day started with the sultry sounds of the Jay Valor Band featuring original music by Jay Valor and covers of country, rock, pop songs and ballads. Jay is a local favorite with a big heart and a voice to match. You can catch him at many local music venues when he isn’t touring.
An edgy violin performance by the beautiful and incomparable Siobhán Cronin brought a unique element to the stage. Siobhan is a highly trained classical violinist who has embraced technology and leverages her love of electronic music to create a truly unique sound. When the violinist has a better pedal board than the lead guitarist, watch out!
The finale of the evening brought about another local favorite band, The W’s. Comprised of husband and wife duo Chadwick Watkins and Brittany Star-Watkins along with an impressive supporting band, the W’s blew the proverbial roof off (well they would have, but it was an outdoor event). The W’s played a variety of pop, funk, R&B and original music written by the duo. The W’s were later joined by Siobhán for a collaborative, super fun musical experience!
The entire event was well planned from beginning to end with comfy and stylish seating, themed décor, models and greeters for ambiance and plenty of stuff for the kiddos like custom airbrush t-shirts, metallic temporary tattoos and a mobile “photo booth” called the Ring Roamer with text photo delivery for everyone to use.
Catering was provided by the Seagate Country Club who provided exceptional, snacks, dinner and bar. Craft beers and delicious wines were dispensed by The Kombi Keg company from a unique vintage VW van outfitted with beer taps and bartender. Beautiful décor and attention to detail was provided and designed by Richard Grille Events. Creative Touch Party Design perfectly planned, organized and managed all aspects of preparation and execution. Valentín Creative, LLC provided the bands, audio, lighting and ambient entertainment.
